| Do I Need to Shred the Application? |

I know that if I get an offer from a credit card company to apply for their card and I don't want the card, I should shred the application instead of just throwing it away in one piece, because there are people who pick your garbage bins for those applications and apply for the cards in your name and then you've become a victim of identity theft.
Well, should I also shred the applications for insurance? Is there a danger in letting an insurance application fall into the wrong hands?
