| Hey DJ Just play that song |

Around 1984 (I think) there was a song called "Hey DJ" I think that was the name of the song I am trying to figure out who sang it. I remember watching the video back when they played music videos and not reality shows on M~TV. The video had a guy dressed in a basketball warm up outfit and 2 or 3 girls. I remember the song started with the girls singing "Hey DJ just play that song keep me dancing all night long." Then the male singer singing "So you want to be a DJ. What must you do to be a DJ, Girl you got to make them Move, groove dance you out your dog gone shoes." Anyway that's all I remember from the song though. It's not the DJ song that is being played currently on the radio, it's from the early 1980s. If you have any clue please let me know. I know the song was played on the radio as well. I read on a website that it might be "D.J. Cheese" but can't confirm it. |
