| Battery of Tests |

On the show "ER," oftentimes when a patient is admitted to the emergency room the doctor orders a battery of tests.
I only remember two items on that list of tests: CBC, and Chem 20. Usually the list of tests I hear them order is the same.
What are the names of the other items on the list of tests, and would you also explain to me in simple English what each test is?
