The National Criminal Intelligence Service in the UK denberg 11/01/03
    Britain has something called NCIS or the National Criminal Intelligence Service. Now why does it need that? Surely if all the 43 regional police forces were doing their job properly, they wouldn't need one more? Is it just old fashioned bureaucracy or does it actually serve some purpose?

      Yes but isn't it just duplicating what the other police forces do? What does it do that they don't?
