It would help us to give you a good answer if you could describe how your parents hover over you and are overprotective, especially since you don't live at home. Do they call multiple times a day? Do they scold you when you talk to them and accuse you of not loving them anymore? Are they paying anything toward your upkeep so they believe they can control your life? Are you working or in college? How old are you? Please give details. Thanks!
