Actors SCOOBY 04/08/05
    Hello voiceguy

For all these years, I have wondered about scenes like the one performed by Julia Roberts in Steel Magnolias where she fakes a diabetic attack. How do actors fake something like this? It looks so real. Even her blood vessels in her forehead looked real and the way her lips contorted.

It is incredible how realistic that scene was. Thank you for enlightening me about makeup and computers being used in the scene. How is the persperation made in movies?

Glycerin is often used to create artificial perspiration or tears. Water would tend to make the makeup run.
