Is Eugenics a part of Darwin's Theory? peddler7118 03/19/07
Understanably those who who believe in godless evolution don't like their belief system linked to the horors of eugenics in this country but the facts of history say it is one and the same.
The term eugenics was coined by Darwin's cousin Sir Francis Dalton but the idea was all Chuckie D's.
The belief we are simply animals the product of an accident devaluse human life.
The Columbine killers were avid evolutionist and murdered their teachers and fellow students to remove them from the genepool to honor Hitler on his birthday.
They singled out Christians such as Cassie Bernall and mocked her for believing in God before they blew her brains out.
Atheism and evolution are not anything less than an open warfare against God and His people. Millions have been shot or starved to death for this belief and any Christian that supports it is mindless.
When Pericles made his comment about returning the Christians to the coliseum in Rome it was not a joke.
Unless of course you think killing Christians is funny.

    Eugenics
Darwinism has provided scientific support for eugenics
Darwin warned against allowing "the weak members of civilised societies [to] propagate their kind"
"With savages, the weak in body or mind are soon eliminated; and those that survive commonly exhibit a vigorous state of health. We civilised men, on the other hand, do our utmost to check the process of elimination; we build asylums for the imbecile, the maimed, and the sick; we institute poor-laws; and our medical men exert their utmost skill to save the life of every one to the last moment. There is reason to believe that vaccination has preserved thousands, who from a weak constitution would formerly have succumbed to small-pox. Thus the weak members of civilised societies propagate their kind. No one who has attended to the breeding of domestic animals will doubt that this must be highly injurious to the race of man. It is surprising how soon a want of care, or care wrongly directed, leads to the degeneration of a domestic race; but excepting in the case of man himself, hardly any one is so ignorant as to allow his worst animals to breed." (Darwin, Charles R. [English naturalist and founder of the modern theory of evolution], "The Descent of Man and Selection in Relation to Sex," [1871], John Murray: London, Second Edition, 1922, reprint, pp.205-206) [top]

Biological arguments based on innate inferiority spread rapidly after evolutionary theory permitted a literal equation of model "lower" races with ancestral stages of higher forms.
Stephen Jay Gould, Ontogeny and Phylogeny, Belknap-Harvard Press, 1977, page 126.

If a person doesn’t think there is a God to be accountable to, then—then what’s— what’s the point of—of trying to modify your behavior to keep it within acceptable ranges? That how I thought, anyway. I always believed the theory of evolution as truth, that we all just came from the slime. When we died, you know, that was it, there is nothing …
Jeffrey Dahmer, interviewed by Stone Phillips, Dateline NBC, November 29, 1994.

    Charles Darwin
“A man who has no assured and ever-present belief in the existence of a personal God, or of a future existence with retribution and reward, can have for his rule of life, as far as I can see, only to follow those impulses and instincts which are the strongest or which seem to him the best ones.”

Thus, from the war of nature, from famine and death, the most exalted object which we are capable of conceiving, namely, the production of the higher animals directly follows.
Charles Darwin, On the Origin of Species, 1859, p 490.

      Peddler

      I'll repeat :

      EUGENICS :

The study of or belief in the possibility of improving the qualities of the human species or a human population.

Negative eugenics : by such means as discouraging reproduction by persons having genetic defects or presumed to have inheritable undesirable traits.

Positive eugenics : encouraging reproduction by persons presumed to have inheritable desirable traits.

Peddlers suggestion of a direct link between evolution and eugenics is nonsensical.

Evolution is about the development from the first living cell 4 billion years ago to life as we know it today.

Eugenics is about "improving" the quality of the human population.

Of course you can accept evolution as a fact, without ever having a single thought about eugenics, be that positive or negative.

If you accept evolution you do not have to accept eugenics at all.

But if you accept eugenics, you have to accept evolution also for it's supporting techniques, theory, and application.

So peddlers suggestion is WRONG AND DELIBERATELY MISLEADING !!!

You are in denial that people that can be so cruel will call themselves Christian (no matter how twisted their idea of God is) They do believe in a god even though it is NOT the TRUE GOD. Therefore they can not be classified as atheist as you insist.

Many cults and organizations claim they are Christian that we may not agree with but they do make the claim.

      Rev Phelps
      white anglo saxon supremist separationists
      the KKK
      the Mafia
      the snake handlers
      BTK
      to name just a few...

Maybe your comprehension of atheist is off!
If they claim they believe in a creator they can not be classified as atheist.

I am NOT defending evil. All I said was Hitler started out Catholic and did believe in something which makes him not an atheist.
(I even said he made HIS OWN TWISTED god)
Occult yes, satanist yes, evil MOST definitely,

Now you are making fun of the Bible.
You are making light of God's judgement .
Apparently you went to atheist.org to get your opinion of the great flood.

I have no respect for so called Christians who disparage God's word.
First you link to atheist websites and now you post pictures to mock God?

I am sorry I called you a psuedo-atheist. You are the real McCoy.
