Our family is in study lessons with Witnesses. Is that good?

He is no longer a Jehovah's Witness, nor does he have any association nor affiliation with the Jehovah's Witnesses. He has disassociated himself from Jehovah's Witnesses years ago and if he didn't the Congregation would have disfellowshiped him for his actions. Just wanted to make that clear. None of Jacksons family are associated with Jehovah's Witnesses any more, except maybe the mother. All I know is that anyone who can support a child melestor is not a Jehovah's Witness. Hello Geedubya84, As one of Jehovah's witnesses, I welcome any who wish to serve Jehovah God along with us. I will say that studying with JW is good if that is what you believe in your heart. Being one of Jehovah's Witnesses though will not be easy because those of us who are truly Jehovah God's servants must practice our beliefs every day, not just when it is good to do so. Being one of Jehovah God's servants means that we no longer live our life for ourselves but we live our life to do Jehovah God's will. If you are truly sincere then welcome aboard. Do not listen to what others tell you but do as the ancient people did, search out the scriptures to see if this is what you believe in your heart. God want us to serve him willingly not because of what others say or how others act. Remember though being a JW will not make you perfect, just make you a willing subject of God's will and laws. Also as in all religions, not all who claim to be JW's are truly a Jehovahs Witness. Before reaching a sincere choice on this though, dig down deep in your heart and ask yourself these questions. 1- Do I truly believe what I am being taught? 2- Is what I am being taught come from the Bible? 3- Is this my honest heartfelt choice or is it just to please others? 4- Have I grown to love Jehovah God to the point of wanting to do his will and to live my life in harmony with his laws and standards? If you can answer an honest yes to these questions, then yes it is good you are studying with Jehovah's Witnesses. If you can not answer yes, then maybe it is not for you, or maybe you need to ask more questions of the person studying with you. Maybe you just need a better explaination. I hope it is and if it is then welcome and may Jehovah God bless you and help you to find your way to him. Always remember this verse and Jehovah God will take care of the rest. Proverbs 3:5,6 5 Trust in Jehovah with all your heart and do not lean upon your own understanding. 6 In all your ways take notice of him, and he himself will make your paths straight. Jehovah God knows our heart felt feelings and if you truly want to know him and serve him, he will without fail help you to do just that.
