During the last half-century, the Solid Democratic South has disappeared and a more competitive, perhaps Republican leaning, partisan politics has developed within the region. What role did “race” play in this change? Defend your answer with supporting evidence and with a discussion of why alternative explanations are (more/less) persuasive.

I'm sorry but I have to decline this question. You probably do not know that I live know in Spain, and am somewhat disconnected with the USA domestic problems. I'm only interested in the USA policy when it has to do with international affairs. Sorry Curious98
