Hi to everyone,
My question is: is it really possible to find a job on the Internet working from home these days? Any suggestions are very welcome.
Oh I forgot. My name is Paolo and I live in the Pisa area, Italy.

Hi Paolo --
Unfortunately, the work-from-home offers on the net are mostly fake. The easier it is to find the offer (especially if it comes to you in an unsolicited e-mail) the more likely that it is fake.
Crooks like to promise that you will make lots of money doing something at home. It usually sounds too good to be true. They ask you to send money to get more information, or to "register."
After you send the money, you probably will not receive anything. If you do receive something, it will be worthless.
(In one common situation, the crook runs an ad promising to sell you the secret for how to make lots of money at home on the internet. When you send in your money, the crook tells you that you should run your own ads selling information on how to make money at home on the internet. In other words, the crook tells you to inflict the same scam on other people.)
There are people who work successfully from home, both on and off the internet. These people find their own work, however. Perhaps they answer the phone for a local business when the owner is away. Perhaps they enter handwritten information from customer forms into a computer. They may handle bookkeeping. The point is, they find something they can do that is valuable to the local business community, and offer their service directly to the business community. |
