What telephone number do you call or website do you go to to check out a orthodontist information. I calling from the yellow pages and I just want to make sure I am getting a reputable orthodontist. Thanks in advance.

I know for doctors there are numbers you can call to check out their credentials, I thought you could do so for dentists. If you know anything abt that, I would appreciate your help. The best would be getting a referral from your general dentist. Or, from friends who had had orthodontic work done, the result is good and they're happy with the orthodontist. You can never know who's a good orthodontist / dentist from commercial phone numbers or websites where anyone can register.
