A difficult question server 10/09/12

When Christians die, will they ( or their souls) go to paradise right away like what Jesus told the thief on the cross, or will they remain underground and rise from earth when Jesus comes to Earth the second time, as mentioned in the Book of Revelation?
(note: I sent this question to Paraclete but there is no reply from him so far)

Sorry server, I don't remember receiving it.

I think we must see the example to the thief as specific to that momentous event, and an example of the reward for faith, the short time we see as death is really only an instant in eternity and there is not doubt we must face judgement, the first judgement, whether we accepted Christ or not I think we face immediately and the second, what we did while we were here and our reward comes later. This reconciles the views expressed in the Scriptures
