Please post as an add-on in topic "green" your reply towards SPECIALLY to it's focal point : the Christian aspect in this all.
I did not ask for political based opinions. That was clear for all.

I find them loaded and designed to entrap us into a contradiction.
Yes we are stewards of the planet . I dispute the premise that the human activity is significant in the issue of climate change. I also think that humans exausting Co2s have improved the human condition world wide and have been benificial in easing poverty and hunger .
The extreme environmentalist do not offer solutions that are realistic and reasonable. They want to punish existing industrial nations and ignore the polution created by emerging nations. It may very well satisfy their egalitarian presumptions but it does not cure the "ailing planet "not one bit.
I have said repeatedly that I do not think it is a good idea for us to be exhausting pollutants into the atmosphere and to the extent that it does not impact the progress of development we should take measures to limit it.
Scientist should concentrate their efforts on developing scrubbers for exhaust of existing technology and for developing the future cleaner technologies. They would serve mankind much better doing that than being chicken little cassandras . |
