Is it true that noe bankrutpcy is not as easy to do? I have a lot of credit card bills and school loans, etc, totalling tens of grands, without a good job, so I was wondering exactly how much harder is i tnow....

No. There is a bill in Congress to make a Chapter 7 bankruptcy harder to get, but it is stuck in procedure and cant possibly be passed before Congress is dissolved. That means the bill would go back to the beginning in the next session of congress. However, note that a bankruptcy wont get rid of your school loans, although it will get rid of your credit card debt.
