Apple & Macintosh I have worked with computers since the mainframe days starting in 1967 (Univac 1108, IBM 360, DEC PDP-10) as well as the Apple II beginning in 1977. My first Mac was a Mac Plus in late 1984, and between my wife and I we have about 10 desktop Macs and about half a dozen Mac laptops. My wife has a G4 desktop running System X while I perk along with a blue-and-white G3 on System 8.6 (she always the newest stuff!). Dogs My wife and I have four dogs (two cocker spaniels and two beagles), all of whom are show dogs. The two cocker spaniels are retired AKC champions; our younger beagle (born July 2001) just finished her championship and will be showing as a Specials dog now.
