you have to go to your ms config and take it out of your start up. to tell you more detail i need to know what version of windows you are running.
windows me you click on start, accessories, system tools, system information and a window will pop up and it will have a tab called start up click on it and it will bring up all your items that start up with your computer un check the one that you do not want to start up with and it will no longer appear by the clock with windows xp you click on start, run and type in msconfig and hit enter or click on ok and it will also bring up the window. Good Luck
