Beginners & Newbies
Been using Computers since I was 8. Wrote my first BASIC program at 10. Been using the buggers ever since and now hold an Advanced Dip. of Business Systems majoring in JAVA programming and am currently working in Data Management.
Just built my own Computer. If youre really green on the subject, this doesnt mean I was soldering circuit boards or anything, I just bought all the parts(beasty ones at that) and put them together to make an extremely fast home PC.
Been surfing, browsing, chatting on, and researching the internet since 1998 and am always glad to spread a little of what I know.

Born and raised in NZ, going on 24 years now with a two year spell in Australia.
Love Rugby, Snowboarding, and the cold deep south in winter.
Fairly tuned in on NZ culture, particulary that of generation X being part of it myself.

PCs

Done a small amount of network work for a SME and understand a bit about compatitbilty issues. My OS knowledge lies with Windows98SE, XP, NT 4.0 and a bit of Linux.

Rugby
Half Kiwi/Half Aussie, rugby has always been in my life and is my favourite sport.
Given my heritage, the is no question that my loyalties lie with the great ABs (Fourth in the world at present). But I greatly respect the consistency of the Wallabies(#1 for now), and the heart of the Irish squads.
I love talking about the sport and know a great deal of the finer points of the game/tactics etc.
