Question/Subject:
"Nox" Camelot1244 asked this question on 5/13/2002: The Roman name "Nox" does not refer to a god or goddess. Who was Nox?
beainsc gave this response on 5/13/2002: NOX was indeed a Goddess... but more commonly know as NYX, the Goddess of the night (an ancient Greek - not roman - goddess personifying night). The Latin word Nox does mean night - hence: nocturnus, nocturnal, etc
