Question/Subject:
    What is willpower?
    ...
Willpower is the power of the will.
So,we are speaking of what is will here.

Will is always related to a subject,to a goal, either to reach something or to continue
something and may characterize a person in general.

Apart from that,we have the issue of free will.

The grade of persistence of a person in reaching a certain goal is measured in willpower.

    Or

the grade of giving in/up goals easily is measured in the lack of willpower.

Willpower itself is in the character of a person.
It is strongly related to the grade of self-control of a person.
Willpower can only be broken if the self-control of a person is broken first.

People who lose willpower, look like broken
    anyway.

    In short:
Willpower is the ability to reach a goal.

    Love!
